Description

Weston Blain is 9 years old and has been a member of the Boyd Bandits for 1 year. Some hobbies and interests include Working with my animals, playing sports and helping my parents on the ranch and other 4-H projects like, Market Beef, Market Sheep, Aerospace, Woodworking and Range.

This year, they are offering for sale, Wilson, a 3/4 Angus 1/4 Hereford Steer. Wilson was Born and raised at home and currently started on a bull developer purchased and Town and Country Supply. I finished by feeding Beef 14 developer from Hubbard Feeds (Westfeeds) and free-choice home raised grass/alfalfa hay feed program.

Here's what Weston Blain has to say about Wilson: I started with two steers, Russel and Wilson. They both weaned at 740 pounds and oddly enough they both weighed 875 on January 10th. Since that time Russel gained faster than Wilson but Wilson is much more calm and easy to work with. I have really enjoyed taking care of my animals (most days!). I have my steers, a lamb, horses, chickens and dogs to feed each day. This is my first year in 4-H and I have learned a lot. I am bummed there is not going to be any camping at the fair this year! I really enjoy playing football, basketball and soccer. I also spend time riding my dirt bike when I am not helping my parents. I like working with animals. Branding and shipping are my favorite days.

Thank you supporting 4-H and FFA. Thank you for reading about me and my animals. Thank you for your interest in Wilson!
