This is the best set of cattle we sell-gentle, growthy steers that gain and grid exceptionally well.
They are always within only a few lbs of their base weight. Test weighed for accuracy. The Big Brothers!
Out of fancy, high-performing Angus and Sim/Angus bulls, with a few BWF calves in the group These steers will perform in any program. Big frames, great muscle, and the kind that will finish well north of 1,600 lbs with strong yield and quality grades. We fed these cattle ourselves one year and they proved to be an anomaly for carcass quality very high percentage Prime on only ~140 days on concentrate. They would've kept on growing the entire too.
Weaned Sept 24 and handled right by excellent cattle people. These steers are currently running
on pasture, fed by hand 3 lbs/day of beet pulp pellets -no grain. Light fleshed, green, super
gentle, and set up for a strong ADG.
Health: Calfhood and pre-weaning vaccinations.
