Description

Stanford, MT - 130 Weaned Heifer Calves at 645 Is avg. Shipping March 6-8.
Long-weaned. green heifer calves with the age and frame for explosive compensatory gain
These heifers are the kind that feed like steers and fit multiple programs. Put them together with the steers to build three 60,000+ lb loads.
This group is 60% Charolais cross. 35% Black/BWF. and 5% Red/RWF. Long weaned out on pasture in early November and fed long hay with a targeted 0.75 ADG, these cattle have tons of upside when you decide to furn them on. The colored heifers will grid well, north of 1,400 lbs, and the Charolais crosses will keep growing to 1,500-1,600 lbs. Sired by Cobb & Brevig Charolais bulls, selected for muscle and performance.
These are hard-to-find, hay-weaned cattle with real age. frame. and grow. Hauled to the scale and weighed with a 2% shrink, with a $0.25 slide and 30-Ib stops. If you're looking for green, long-weaned heifers that can gain and finish heavy, this could be the best gaining heifers you feed this year!
