Description

Stanford, MT - 150 Weaned Steer Calves at 680 lbs avg. Shipping March 6-8.

Long-weaned, light-fleshed steers with the age and frame to keep growing and finish heavy with high yield. Pair these with the heifer mates to build three 60,000+ lb loads.

These steers are 60% Charolais cross. with the balance primarily Black/BWF and a small percentage Red/RWF. Weaned out on pasture in early November and developed on long hay with a targeted 0.75 ADG, keeping them green and set up to respond when turned on. Everything in this grouo has the frame and structure to finish north of 1,600 lbs with strong yield.

Sired by Cobb & Brevig Charolais bulls, selected for muscle and performance. These are hard-to find, hay-weaned steers with real age, frame, and genetic horsepower.

Hauled to the scale and weighed with a 2% shrink with a +/-0.25 slide and 30-lb stops.

If you're looking for green long-weaned steers that feed efficiently, and grow big with a high yield, this set fits the bill.
