A hard-to-find, true fall-calving package of home-raised bred cows coming from a 5th generation family ranch. Fall calvers are tough to source in Montana, and this is a legitimate fall program, not re-breeds.
Good bodied cows likely weighing 1300-1400 lbs. These are easy-keeping, functional cows that have never required calving assistance. The ranch has retained replacement heifers and bulls from this group over the years, a strong vote of confidence in the genetics and cow quality. Calves out of these cows have consistently been used for beef programs or breeding.
The group is mixed ages, ranging from coming 4-year-olds to coming 10-year-olds. Five head are AI bred, with the balance caught in one cleanup bull cycle.
