Four Loads of Front-end Char X feeder steers built to grow fast and finish heavy. These are Charolais-cross steers off of Black and Red Angus cows. They are long, deep and stand on a lot of bone. The kind of cattle that will keep growing and gaining as long as you want to feed them.
This group is the front end of 400 steers sourced off one Montana ranch. Sired by Eaton and Cobb Charolais bulls, two Montana programs with genetics known for muscle, frame size and serious growth horsepower.
They have been only fed to grow on a 48 Mcal ration, and were just stepped up to a 50 Mcal ration two weeks ago. Cattle are clean, running in a big dry pen, and ready to take off in the finishing phase.
