Description
We purchase roughly 60% of our bull customers’ top-end heifers. Before breeding we cull out about 4% of the heifers that aren’t performing as well as we would like.
After the preg-check we will cull another 3-4% for soundness, efficiency and disposition.
All heifers are on a full vaccination program.
Heifers are ultra-sounded in August. Calving dates range from February 10th - May 25th.
They will be sorted into groups of confirmed calving dates and can load out straight from the preg-check chute in August or held until the fall to ship in October.
