Alamosa, CO – 50 Cow–Calf Pairs | 2-Year-Old First-Calf Heifers | Calving Apr 15–Late May | Ship in June
A sharp set of young, first-calf SimAngus pairs built for altitude and ready to go straight to grass. Calves begin arriving April 15 through late May, with the youngest calves being at least two weeks old at shipping time—strong, healthy, and ready to roll. All calves will be tagged to match and receive an 8-way shot. Turn them out and watch them grow.
These heifers are Simmental × Angus from a high-end program featuring T-Heart Ranch genetics, developed under rugged, real-world conditions. With the ranch running at elevations above 8,000 feet, these cattle are built where live calves matter most. The heifers were hand-picked as calves, developed properly, and bred to TJ Night Owl sons—low birth weight SimX bulls that calve easy and grow fast.
Bred heifers weighed approximately 1,100 lbs, and pairs should weigh that or better by shipping time. Expect good-milking, functional females with the kind of durability and maternal strength that fit any high-altitude or western program.
Quality young pairs with strong genetic backing—ready to go to work.
