Description

60 Open Replacement Heifers for sale weighing approximately 800 lbs at Crestone, Colorado. These are April-born heifers coming from an Angus and SimAngus base, selected as the top end of 110 head. This is a strong, uniform set of replacement-quality heifers that have been sorted strictly on kind, quality, and long-term productivity. They are Bangs vaccinated and represent the kind of females that can be developed into a functional, efficient cow herd with longevity and performance.

These heifers were purchased and put together locally, then sorted down to the best cattle in the group. The seller has experience breeding similar cattle and understands what it takes to identify quality replacements. They are currently being managed on hay fields and windrowed triticale, are hotwire broke, and have previously been fed in a lot on hay and silage. The program includes rotational grazing on winter fields, keeping the cattle in practical working condition.

This is a good, honest set of replacement heifers with the look, disposition, and background to go on and make productive cows. A strong opportunity to step into a sorted, ready-to-develop group without having to do the sorting yourself.
