Description

Powell, Wyoming - 160 Heifers for sale weighing approximately 725 lbs and ready to ship immediately.

These are 100% black-hided heifers, primarily Black Angus with a small percentage of black baldies, developed on a high roughage ration to stay green and ready for grass. This is a practical, middle-cut set that offers flexibility—approximately half could be sorted into a quality replacement group, with the balance fitting well into a yearling grass program or going right to feed.

These heifers are a stretchy, good-framed kind with plenty of bone. They are light fleshed, slow grown on a ration of straw, silage, and approximately 2 lbs of corn, giving them a strong gain curve ahead.

Cattle are sourced from a combination of home-raised groups and purchased cattle out of Worland and Billings, then developed together over the winter. All heifers are Bangs vaccinated, have received calfhood and pre-weaning vaccinations, and have not been implanted.

This is a good, set of heifers that give a buyer plenty of options.
