Description

Offering a high-quality set of heifer calves out of a proven Angus-based cow herd, located west of Powers Lake, ND. This is a reputation set of large-medium framed cattle that have been extremely consistent year after year, with past shipping weights typically landing within 15 lbs of previous years.

Steers will feature two groups:

95 head @ 660 lbs (Oct 27 – Nov 5 delivery)

100 head @ 600 lbs

These steers are fancy, performance-driven calves with plenty of muscle and growth, backed by 100% Angus bulls selected for muscling and efficiency. Steers will be on creep feed, adding extra condition and gain going into shipment.

Heifers include:

100 head @ 600 lbs

These are 2-way type heifer, coming from a program that retains replacements—expect quality and maternal strength throughout. Even with replacements sorted off, buyers will still have a deep, high-end offering to select from.

Cattle are 90% black, 10% black baldy, with Angus-based cows (1,275–1,375 lbs mature weight). The set is fairly even (+/- 15%).

Calves are banded at branding, have received a complete calfhood and pre-weaning vaccination program, and are not implanted. They’ve been running on native dryland pasture, with steers supplemented by creep feed.
