Reputation Angus Calves out of the Crazy Mountains!
Per CWT
Big Timber, Montana – 40 Unweaned Heifer Calves at 515 lbs, shipping October 2–3.
This is a top-end set of Black Angus heifer calves from a long-time reputation producer in the Crazy Mountains, born in a 60-day window or less and sorted to keep the quality front and center. The ranch is keeping approximately the top half for replacements and sorting 5–10 lighter end calves off the bottom, leaving a very nice, uniform group of 40 head. These heifers come at an ideal time to be weaned while the weather is still favorable.
These heifers are approximately 100% Black Angus with around 10% black baldies. They come from medium to large-framed cows weighing 1,300–1,500 lbs, selected for their ability to consistently wean big, high-quality calves. The program is backed by Felton Angus bulls, known for toughness, maternal strength, and frame, making these heifers a strong candidate for future replacements or a solid grass program.
Raised on native mountain pastures, these heifers are healthy, hardy, and will be in healthy, medium flesh you'd want in a set of calves.
