This is a true fall-calving set of predominantly Black Angus cows, all sourced from one program and purchased three years ago from Stovall Ranches. These cows are bred to SimAngus bulls from Open Gate Ranch, offering added growth, performance, and power while maintaining strong maternal traits. This is a defined fall program with cows that are set up to calve in a tight window and raise a solid calf year after year.
These are good-bodied, traveling cows that are built to cover country and maintain themselves while weaning strong 600 lb class calves. This is a functional, productive group right in the prime of their lives.
