Per CWT
Berthold, North Dakota – 85 Black Angus Steer Calves at 600 lbs, shipping approximately October 21.
This is a super nice set of 100% home-raised steer calves coming straight out of a high-quality, reputation program in northwestern North Dakota. These calves are 100% black hided with approximately 10% black baldies—just enough Hereford influence to add a shot of hybrid vigor, extra performance, and growth while maintaining a very clean, uniform look.
This is the kind of set buyers wait for: very even, good-quality calves with a big sort behind them and the genetics to grow and perform. Raised on native dryland pasture, these steers come with a practical ranch background and the kind of condition to transition and keep gaining. Cattle running in this dryland country are muscled, hard, tough, and healthy. High-performance Angus genetics, strong carcass quality, and the look to hit grid premiums make these the kind that can go any direction and make money.
