Berthold, ND – 80 Black Angus Steer Calves at 650 lbs
Good set of home-raised Black Angus steer calves selling out of Berthold, North Dakota. These steers are 100% black-hided with approximately 10–20% black baldies, giving buyers a clean, desirable set of northern calves with added baldy influence and feedlot appeal.
The steers will sell at approximately 650 lbs with a total net weight of 52,000 lbs. They are unweaned, running on the cow, and grazing native dryland pasture. This is a green, ranch-raised kind with the condition and background to go on and perform.
The cattle will be sorted for size, with approximately 65 head hauled in about 30 miles prior to final sort and loading. They are expected to be fairly even with approximately +/- 15% weight variation.
Calves have had calfhood and pre-weaning vaccinations including Bovishield 5, 7-Way Somnus, Provitity, and Pasturella. They are 100% home-raised and not weaned.
