Corvallis, MT – 90 Black Angus & Black Baldy Steer Calves at 675 lbs
A reputation set of 90 steer calves. These calves come from a mostly straight black, home-raised cow herd that has built a strong name for producing high-quality, sought-after calves with performance, docility, and feeding value.
The cattle are 95% black and 5% black white face, backed by a productive cow herd weighing approximately 1,275–1,350 lbs. Sires come from Circle L Angus Pay Weight genetics and Holden Herefords Advance genetics, selected for muscling, performance, disposition, and strong weaning performance.
This is a good Western Montana set with the kind, health, and management behind them to perform well after shipping. The owner is personally involved in the calving and day-to-day care of the cattle, and it shows in the consistency and reputation of the program. These calves are raised on irrigated pasture and handled with a complete calfhood, pre-weaning, and shipping vaccination program.
Health program includes Endovac, 8-way, and Multimin at birth/March-April; Nasalgen and Ivermectin prior to turnout; and Pyramid 5 with Presponse, 8-way, and Ivermectin at shipping.
