Black Angus Cow Calf Pairs | Sheridan, Montana View Watchlist >
April-May Calvers, 3 to 8 Year Olds. Front End Sort
Per Head
Sheridan, Montana – 40 Black Angus Cow-Calf Pairs, April–May calving, shipping approximately June 15.
This is a strong set of 3 to 8-year-old cow-calf pairs sorted from the first 45 calvers out of a 450-head reputation cowherd. These are the younger, productive-aged cows from the front end of the herd—100% Black and Black Baldy pairs with plenty of life and earning potential still ahead of them. If you're looking for immediate turn-out pairs with calves already on the ground and the hard work done, this is a very practical set.
These cows are moderate to larger framed (1,400–1,500 lbs), carrying good condition and raising April/May calves tagged to match. Calves are not branded, giving buyers added flexibility depending on marketing plans. Being sorted from the first calvers out of a large herd adds real value here—these cows bred early, calved early, and come from enough numbers to make a strong, uniform sort.
Bred to Black Angus and Simmental cross sires, expect calves with growth, muscle, and performance. This is the kind of productive-aged pair offering that is hard to put together—young enough to have years left, proven enough to know what they’re doing, and sorted right off the front end of a large ranch program.
