These steers represent a strong sort from 108 head, with the biggest calves and the lighter end removed to create a more uniform, marketable load. Despite a longer calving season, buyers can expect a well-sorted package of calves with consistency in size, quality, and kind.

Approximately 95% of the offering is solid Black Angus with the balance Black Baldies. The cow herd consists of moderate 1,300 to 1,350 lb Angus-based females selected for sound conformation, maternal ability, and longevity. Powerful Angus sires from Neversweat and 3C Cattle have been chosen for their combination of calving ease, growth, and structural correctness, producing calves with good muscle, length of body, and the performance commercial cattlemen expect.

These are large-medium framed calves carrying a healthy medium flesh condition and developed on irrigated pasture.
