Montana – 42/29 Black Angus Steer/Heifer Calves at 575/520 lbs, shipping October 15, 2026.
This offering includes 71 head of home-raised Black Angus calves developed on irrigated river bottom pasture. Sired by registered Black Angus bulls, these calves are backed by a practical cow herd focused on producing high-quality, growth-oriented calves with the disposition and genetics today's buyers appreciate. The steers are well suited for feeding programs, while the heifers offer the kind and genetics to fit either replacement or feeding programs.
The cow herd consists of 1,400-1,500 pound Black Angus cows bred to registered bulls from M&M Angus and Wacker Angus. Calving ease, low birth weights, growth, and structural correctness drive the breeding program, producing functional, consistent calves with plenty of performance potential.
The calves are rotationally grazed on irrigated river bottom pasture and regrowth hay meadows with abundant water available throughout the grazing season. Bull calves were banded at birth and the cattle have received calfhood vaccinations, including Alpha 7 at birth followed by Virashield 6 and Vision 7 at branding. Steers have been implanted with Ralgro, while the heifers have not been implanted.
This is a practical set of home-raised Angus calves with the genetics, management, and quality to fit a variety of programs.
