This is an outstanding offering of 350 Black Angus yearling steers representing the top end sorted from 360 head. Purchased from three quality ranches and developed together, these steers are a fancy, uniform set with the frame, condition, and performance today's feeders are looking for. Big enough to go right to work, they offer the kind of growth and feeding potential to excel in the finishing yard.
These steers are 100% Black Angus and carry the frame and body to finish around 1,600 pounds. Muscling and performance have been a priority throughout the genetics behind these cattle, resulting in a practical, growth-oriented set with plenty of capacity and eye appeal. They are big-framed, deep-bodied cattle that should continue to perform efficiently through the finishing phase.
Developed on native Montana pasture, these yearlings are in a healthy medium flesh condition and have been managed under a solid health program.
