Bozeman/Belgrade, Montana – 60 Black Angus Open Heifers at 950 lbs, shipping September 21-27.
This is a quality set of 60 Black Angus open heifers originally purchased from reputation replacement heifer sales in Montana and North Dakota with the intent of developing them as breeding females.
These are large-framed Angus based heifers that I would expect to feed over 1450 to 1550 lbs. They are a light-medium flesh, from running on irrigated grass hay meadows.
Buyers should expect a practical, uniform set of quality feeding heifers with enough frame and genetics to continue performing all the way to harvest. They are gentle and quiet, used to being handled and rotated.
