This offering features 30 quality Black Angus steer calves with the frame, muscle, and growth potential buyers are looking for. Raised from a herd of large, productive cows and backed by proven Lowell Angus genetics, these steers are built to perform in the feedyard and finish with added value.
These calves come from 1,400-1,500 lb Angus cows selected to consistently raise heavy, high-quality calves. Lowell Angus sires were chosen for muscling and performance, resulting in a uniform set of big-framed, deep-bodied steers with the genetics to reach a 1,500 lb finish weight and excel on the rail.
The steers have been developed on native pasture and carry a healthy medium flesh condition. They have received a complete calfhood and pre-weaning vaccination program and have been implanted. Cattle will be gathered the morning of shipping, hauled approximately 20 miles to the ConneXion yards at Park City, and weighed straight on the ground.
