The steer calves have been sorted with the lighter end removed to create a more uniform load, while approximately 20-25 of the top heifers have been retained as replacements, leaving a strong offering of commercial females. The cow herd is built around quality Angus genetics selected to produce medium-framed, efficient cattle with strong carcass merit and maternal value. Raised on native pasture and regrowth hay meadows, these calves are in healthy medium flesh and have received a complete calfhood and pre-weaning vaccination program.
