Description

Utica, Montana – 30 Black Angus Heifer Calves at 575 lbs, shipping November 1–12.

This is a quality offering of 30 home-raised Black Angus heifer calves from a program focused on producing practical, efficient cattle with proven Angus genetics. Approximately 20-25 of the very top heifers have been retained as replacements, leaving buyers with a strong set of commercial females that offer both feeding performance and replacement potential.

These medium-framed heifers are expected to mature in the 1,400-1,500 lb range and are backed by a quality Angus cow herd selected for consistency, carcass merit, and maternal value. They are the practical kind that fit well in both feeding and selective replacement programs.

Raised on native pasture and regrowth hay meadows, these heifers are in healthy medium flesh and have received a complete calfhood and pre-weaning vaccination program. They have not been implanted, preserving flexibility for buyers seeking breeding females. Cattle will be gathered the morning of shipping, hauled approximately five miles to the scales in Utica, and weighed on the ground with a 1% shrink.
