Per Head
Lander, Wyoming – 165 Black Angus, March Calving Bred Heifers at 980 lbs. High Elevation Heifers! Expected Calving Window March 7 to April 7.
This is an outstanding set of 165 bred heifers from the NL, representing the front-end earliest calving cycles. These are moderate, efficient, high-elevation cattle, built for tough terrain and will hold up very well anywhere across the Rocky Mountain front.
All heifers were AI bred on a synchronized program and bred for a single cycle, AI Bred to SAT Wolverine; followed by cleanup bulls for 21 days. The resulting group is expected to have a tight calving period of approximately 30 days, centered around a March 15 calving date.
The heifers weigh approximately 980 lbs and are currently running out on meadow grass. They were all front end cuts, purchased specifically to breed and become productive cows.
