This is an outstanding offering of 440 yearling heifers sorted from 460 head. 100% black hided with approximately 95% Black Angus, 5% Black Baldies, these heifers are a very uniform set developed to perform. Their consistency, quality, and condition make them an excellent fit for feeding programs, while the genetics and kind also offer strong replacement potential.
These heifers were started on irrigated pasture before spending the summer on mountain range and then returning to irrigated pasture ahead of shipping. This management program has produced a sound, athletic set of females carrying a healthy flesh condition and plenty of capacity to continue gaining efficiently.
The cattle have received a comprehensive post-weaning booster vaccination program, including Pyramid 5 + Presponse, Fusogard, Solidbac, Vision 8, and Revalor G. Buyers can purchase these heifers with confidence knowing they have been managed under a solid health program and are ready for the next phase of production.
The offering represents a very good sort with only 20 head removed from the original group, resulting in a highly uniform package. Cattle will be gathered the morning of shipping and weighed on the ground with a 3% pencil shrink.
