Fishtail, Montana – 20 bred cows averaging 1,475 lbs, calving March 1 to April 30, bred by natural service.
This is a set of medium-fleshed to fleshy cows currently running on grass. The younger cows are mostly April calvers. Eighteen cows are bred to Hereford bulls, and the two Black Baldy cows are bred to Angus bulls, setting them up to raise fancy Black Baldy calves. All cows raised a calf this year.
