Will sell in small groups! Bull Bred, Ultra Sounded 9/9/26
Per Head
Powell, Wyoming – 54 Black and BWF bred heifers at approximately 1,025 lbs, bull bred to calve April 1–25, 2027.
These 54 head are the April-calving, bull-bred group, sorted separately from the March AI-bred heifers. They are 100% black hided with approximately 20% BWFs and carry a 2-iron. This is a good-bodied, even set of locally sourced heifers with a lot of breeding and selection behind them.
They were bred during a 30-day natural-service period to low birth weight Black Angus bulls. Ultrasound on September 9 separated the breeding groups, giving buyers a defined April calving window on this lot.
These heifers have been running out and developed on a high-roughage ration of hay, straw, silage, and barley. They have been developed practically without becoming overly fleshy. The seller will gate cut and sell in smaller groups for buyers who do not need an entire semi load.
