In our online auction, we use a "Racehorse style close," where all lots close at the same time:

Simultaneous Close: All lots close together, rather than one-by-one in a set order. This means that if you’re outbid on a lot, you can immediately switch to bid on another lot, regardless of sale order, giving you more choice and flexibility during the auction. If you’re outbid on your top choice, you have a real-time opportunity to explore other lots before the auction closes.

Extending the Clock: In the final minutes, any bid placed within a set time frame (usually the last 2-5 minutes) will reset the clock for all lots. This keeps the auction fair and competitive.

Use Your WATCHLIST and MY BIDS Pages: You'll be able to easily track the lots you want and bid on a shorter list than watching the whole sale. KEEP IN MIND, as other lots get bids, time will extend on the your lots even if they are not bidding on yours.
