Description

Mesa Mettes is 11 years old and has been a member of the Rock Creek Ranchers for 2 years.

Some hobbies and interests include: I enjoy reading, crafting, playing piano, guitar and ukulele, spending time with my horse, pig and dog and other 4-H projects like, Horse, Leatherwork, Cake Decorating, Art.

This year, they are offering for sale, Rosey, a cross breed Gilt. Rosey is from the gilt from Deaton Show Pigs in Helena, MT and currently on a Champion feed, scraps and marshmallow feed program.

Here's what Mesa Mettes has to say about Rosey: My second year of 4-H I decided to add another animal to my project list. Pigs are funny and cute so this project seemed like the perfect fit. On May 4th, 2020 we met Jay Deaton in Columbus, MT and I met my pig for the first time. I thought she was beautiful. I named her Rosey because of her pink skin and she was so sweet. I spent lots of time with her and after just a few days I could call her and she would come running. I taught her tricks using LOTS of marshmallows and when I walk her she likes going by the horses to scare them.

I have prayed that someone would buy her to breed her. I would love her to be a Momma, but I also understand the other option for her agricultural value.

Thank you in advance for supporting Carbon County 4-H! Thank you for your interest in Rosey!
