Here's a fancy group of weaned Steer & Heifer Calves from SW Montana! Calves like this are becoming increasingly difficult to find, especially calves this big and WEANED, shipping in early October. Only about 3-4 producers in this valley calve early enough to produce this size of calf. These big-boned, long-bodied calves are a premium set of cattle, they come healthy and very gentle to handle.
Born from February through early March, these calves summer on the shores of Hebgen Lake in Southwest Montana, just a stone's throw from Yellowstone Park. They graze on rough mountain pastures where the lease ends in early September. The calves are then brought home and weaned on pasture with a liquid feed supplement for at least 30 days.
These calves have always shown excellent health start eating at bunk the night they arrive at their destination. They come from a small producer who pays great attention to the calves and their health. The only downside is there aren't 300 of them!
Full vaccination program, weaned 30 days and ready to start growing from day one. The heifers' frame size is excellent, making them ideal Angus for fancy replacements. Not Bangs vaccinated.
