Our cattle have over 40 years of using high quality AI genetics.  We have focused on good maternal genetics, and making good mother cows. Our cows are handled with horses, four wheelers, on foot, and with dogs.  We have gentle cows with a great disposition but they still move and handle well.  I tag all the calves with the mothers right with them.  We do sell about 50 bulls a year out of the same herd these heifers come out of.  Cows are run out in in the hills until January typically, the cattle are handled a lot in the spring, and any with temperament issues are culled.

These cows are 100% black angus.  We have been AI'ing all cows since 1980.  We use highly maternal sires, and pay close attention to structure, docility, and fertility.

Cattle are on a custom mineral blend from CHS, they were out all summer in the mountains.   Just started them on grass/alfalfa on 12/10.
