Description

A rugged, no-nonsense set of calves bred to gain. These calves come off a mixed set of Red and Black Angus cows, bred to bulls that are 50% Red Angus and 50% Red Charolais—a proven cross for muscle, growth, and real-world feedlot performance.

Calves color breakdown is roughly:

  • 45% Red-Hided (High Percentage Red Charolais Cross but red hided)
  • 45% Black-Hided
  • 5% Buckskin
  • 5% Baldies (Red or Black).

Large-Medium framed Steers. sorting out of 125

The cow herd runs 1275–1375 lbs, and is half home-raised, half purchased—selected for function and productivity. Bulls are a combination of Doll Charolais genetics and home-raised sires, chosen specifically for muscling and performance you can see at birth.

These calves are native-grass raised across clean country with natural springs, reservoirs, and piped water. Pastures are well-managed and cattle are moved regularly to preserve grass and maintain condition.

Health Program:

  1. Birth: Endovac + Multimin
  2. Branding: Pyramid 5, Vision 7, Inforce 3
  3. Fall: Pyramid 5 + Presponse, Vision 7
  4. No Implants

These calves come from drought-hardened country, and despite dry conditions, they’ve been managed carefully. Come fall, they’ll be ready to go straight to work in the feedlot.
