A sharp set of 98% Black-hided SimAngus steer calves, weighing in at 575 lbs with large-medium frames, good muscle, and carrying regular calf flesh in healthy weaning condition. These calves are fairly even (+/- 15%), sorting out of 120 steers. SimAngus Sires are used for hybrid vigor, growth, and real-world performance. Sired by bulls selected for moderate frames, strong growth, and balanced muscle shape, and out of a practical cow herd (1275–1375 lbs) built for maternal value, milk, and structural quality. No implants given, and calves are backed by a complete calfhood and pre-weaning vaccination program.
