Description

Valentine, NE –

A front-end, even set of Black Angus and Baldy calves, with a big sort out of 200 head each way. (No replacements kept in the heifers)

They come out of a medium-framed, AngusxAngus cow herd (1275–1375 lbs) bred for uniform structure with eye appeal. Bull battery is made up of mostly Angus and Hereford bulls. Sires are chosen for muscle shape, and growth, with a program focused on uniform genetics and quality grade. Calves are large-medium frame, growthy, and good-bodied, carrying light to medium flesh—making them ideal for a yearling grass program or backgrounding. A strong set of calves with the quality, sort, and genetics to perform in multiple programs.
