Description

A front-end set of high-quality bred heifers from Central Montana. These heifers were originally slated for AI breeding to calve March 1, but after discovering a bad batch of semen that prevented conception on two cycles, the producer leased one bull from neighboring ranches. Every heifer then conceived naturally in a tight 36-day window, creating a concise, late-season calving group.

Weighing around 915 lbs, these heifers are a bit lighter than average but are the right kind for a moderate-framed, low-input cow program. They’ll mature into 1250–1350 lb range cows—the efficient, practical type that work for the ranch, not the feedlot They Come with no brands.

They’re the front end of the herd, bred for a early summer calving window, and carry the kind of structure, balance, and maternal value that makes for dependable, long-lasting cows. Quality cattle from a program that handles things right, with a thoughtful, real-world approach to breeding and management.
