Description

Tested Open Yearling Heifers. Cattle will range from 1/2 Blood Angus X 1/2 Blood Beefmasters up to Full Beefmaster; which is a composite breed developed for their hardiness and economic profitability. Beefmaster Breed compostition of Hereford, Shorthorn and Brama.
These cattle are very green, running out in big country on native grasses. Light flesh and should have lots of compensatory gain. About 30%-40% have horns.
These cattle are developed to run in rough country on their own. Big country, spirited, cattle that don't get handled often. They exhibit a high degree of alertness and responsiveness to handling and require experienced cattle handling.
