These steer calves have weaned 4 years in a row over 800 pounds on November 1st! Last year in the drought the cattle came in light at 769 lbs. The open cows this Spring were fleshy and weighed 1700 lbs in town. So that tells you how much potential these cattle have.
They are only selling due to feed shortages going forward. Otherwise they would keep them. They are really gentle cows. Ages are 10-14 YOs but they are in great flesh and you'd never be able to tell they are that old.
