Long haul to the scale and a Great weigh up! AM Gather off pasture, sort from cows, sex, haul in 20+ miles from pasture (45 minutes to haul in on the gravel road)
Younger lighter end trucked in from closer location in stock trailers about 15 miles away.

How many replacements have been taken. Are they implanted? What size are the cows? When do you start calving and end?

A:
About 40 but they only take the black angus cattle as replacements. Yes implanted. The cows are probably 1350 avg. Start calving April 1, majority done June 1 but we'll get a good sort. They'll have a great weigh up, hauled about 45 min to the scale.
