We are a certified producer of the American Grass-fed Association, all of our cattle are certified to be raised according to their standards. Our program focuses on the natural health of the animal, providing probiotics at any stressful or working time, limiting the amount of working and stress, always leaving the animals to free graze in pastures with supplemental salt and mineral. No other supplements, feeds or shots are given.
They are a very consistent herd, they produce very high quality steer calves averaging 633 and heifers 610 end of October. They are gentle, easy to handle and very good mothers.
Home raised herd, all cows are single brand raised with generations of Pyramid breeding bulls. Heifer calves are given pyramid 5 response and Vision 7 20/20 at branding then follow up shots in fall at weaning. Cows are then given Express 5FPVL5 shots when branding calves, prior to breeding.
