Description
These calves come off of two groups of pairs purchased last spring. One group of cows were originally sourced from the Topp Hereford buy back program, all F1 baldies, calves were sired by Ellingson angus bulls. A smaller group of pairs were purchased from Thistledew Angus, cows carried Thistledew bloodlines and calves were sired by Thistledew bulls.
Calves are being fed a high roughage ration with a Purina pellet with a chelated mineral pack. Calves are being fed with the next step in mind, growing well and in good flesh, but not overly fleshy. All calves had one round of implants at branding as calves.
